Monmouth House Nursery is very fortunate having a large garden fully enclosed by a high wall and fences. The only access is through double doors in the nursery. We have got a climbing frame for the children to develop their hand eye coordination.
With the large grassed area the children have got lots of space to run around, ride on bikes and play on a wide selection of different seesaws, swings and slides.
The children enjoy nature walks around the garden, exploring behind the trees and different areas. Our children also enjoy 'bug hunts' looking for different insects in our wildlife area. Each summer our toddler plant different plants in our planting boxes, recording how they grow, ensuring they are watered and learning how to look after them.
Our animals also enjoy our garden; we have got a safe pen where they can enjoy fresh air and time outside with the children.
